About Me
I'm Kathleen Loucks, a certified yoga instructor since 2012 with a deep passion for guiding others toward balance, strength, and self-discovery. My journey into yoga began as a personal search for clarity and connection, and it has since blossomed into a fulfilling vocation. I strive to live each day with joy, gratitude, and an open heart—values that shape every class, workshop, and private session I lead.
Over the past decade, I’ve taught thousands of students, led transformative retreats, and facilitated workshops that blend movement, breathwork, mindfulness, and holistic healing practices. Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or deepening a long-term practice, my goal is to create a supportive, inclusive space where you can reconnect with your body, mind, and inner truth.
At my studio, we offer a diverse range of yoga classes, wellness workshops, and personalized programs designed to help you reduce stress, build strength, and cultivate joy in daily life. I believe yoga is more than physical postures—it's a lifelong journey of self-awareness and empowerment, and I’m honored to walk that path alongside you.

Gentle Yoga

This class is based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned together.  We practice coordinating breathing and physical movement, to improve focus and concentration.  Using props and a chair if wanted, poses for stretching, balance, strength and mindfulness are done with lots of time for adjusting poses to support each person and their specific needs.
Aerial yoga

We use the hammock to help bring us deeper into stretches, inversions and balance poses. We end with relaxation in the hammock, which can't be beat!
Body Positive Yoga
Thursdays 10:00am
at Willow Tree Yoga
This class supports healthy changes based on each person's goals/resolutions, all without shaming/blaming or negative feedback loops.  Each member of the group shares their progress briefly at the beginning of class, creates an intention, and then moves through a gentle flow.  We end with a long savasana or relaxation so that we return to your lives energized and focused.



All Levels Yoga

This flow uses a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. With this class, you will learn and practice the tools needed to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle, while also remaining mindful in every act you perform.
Senior Yoga
Fridays 2 PM
at Roberson Senior Center
Using chairs and mats, we perform exercises designed to help the body, breathe and mind to become more supple, strong and balanced.  We also laugh and support each other through whatever life is throwing at us.
